|Course Title:||Global Marketing|
|Instructor:||Dr Christopher Reynolds|
The globalisation of business has brought new opportunities and challenges to business managers all over the world. The challenge in this new era is to compete in an international market place - even in a local context.
This course is designed to introduce participants to contemporary global marketing and business issues and to emphasise issues relating to the international business environment and its impact upon marketing practice.
In order for business to operate successfully in today’s global market place, its practitioners will need to become aware of important aspects of the international business environment. Increasingly, companies are finding that survival depends upon being aware of international events and expanding their activities beyond domestic boarders. Business is now global; as international stock market and currency value movements so clearly indicate. This course introduces the basics of marketing and marketing strategies for firms to enter the international business arena. It also introduces participants to the emergence of the global-minded consumer.
